Code of Conduct
- All the rules and regulations of the college must be strictly followed by all the students and staff members.
- Silence is to be maintained inside the institute’s premises.
- Parking must be done at proper place.
- Visitors are required to obtain prior permission before visiting the campus.
- Students are required not to litter and to dismantle any property within the campus.
- Proper sanctioning of leave from the competent authority is essential for students and staff.
- Absenteeism should be strictly avoided. Minimum 85% of attendance is mandatory for every student.
- Prior Permission from the authorities is compulsory for organizing parties & functions inside the campus.
Anti-Ragging
As per the guidelines of the Supreme Court/Government we ensure that the Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college campus. In case of negligence, strict action will be taken for its abolishment. Click Here
Drugs / Intoxicants
To curb the use of intoxicants within campus a competitive enquiry committee is formed in the college. It deals with the cases such as involvement in any kind of activities related to drugs / intoxicants which includes but not limited to possession / handling / use / distribution / sale or purchase of drugs / intoxicants (e.g. Alcohol, Tobacco products, Pharmaceutical drugs, Illegal drugs, Poisonous things etc.)
Unfair Means / Copying
To keep check on the use of unfair means / copying / cooperating etc. the examination committee is formed in the college to deal with the cases such as involvement in any kind of activities violating rules of examination which includes but not limited to possession or use of unfair means or copying etc. during examination / tests etc.
General Rules
- Regularity and punctuality in attendance in classes and house examinations is absolutely essential for all the students on rolls in B.Ed classes.
- The college work will start with morning assembly in which attendance is compulsory.
- The text-books prescribed for study must be procured immediately after admission.
- No student will be allowed to accept any employment during the courses of training.
- Students in their free period are expected to make use of the reading room and library.
- A student is liable to be expelled on any of the grounds-misbehavoir, indiscipline and disobeying college rules
- Guardians and parents should note that visitors are not allowed to see the students during the college hours.
- The visiting hours for general public to meet the principal are from 1:30 P.M to 2:30 P.M.
- The college enforces simplicity in dress. The wearing of all kinds of gold ornaments is also discouraged.
- The college is pledged to strict vegetarianism.
Leave Rules
- Leave must be got sanctioned from his/her tutorial incharge personally before it is availed of.
- Application for leave must be signed by the father or the guardian of the applicant. In case of illness, the application should be supported by the medical certificate.
Examinations Rules
- Two Best house tests are considered in each semester.
- Strict disciplinary action will be taken against students who abstain themselves from the house examination or monthly test according to University rules.
- Students are advised not to use any unfair means during examination otherwise disciplinary action will be taken.
- In order to get permission to appear in University Examination, the students must fulfill the following conditions:
• At Least 80% attendance is compulsory.
• The student will have to obtain minimum qualifying marks in every subject and in total as prescribed by the institute.
- All the dues must be cleared by the students before they get their university roll numbers.The internal assessment of the students who fail to appear in house examination will not be sent to the University. If one scores less than 45% marks in exam, he/she will not be allowed to appear in the final examination.
Library Rules
- Two books are to be issued to a student for a period of 15 days only
- The books will be re-issued if they are not in demand by other students.
- A fine of Rs. 5/- per day, per volume is charged for the book returned after the due date.
- Books will be re-issued for the specified period.
- Reference books, text books, rare books & periodicals shall not be issued except for consultation in the library premises.
- The students are required to possess their Identity Card while inside the library and reading room. The defalters will be asked to leave and their case will be reported to the Principal.
- Books issued from the library should be kept very carefully and in no case be under lined or disfigured. If the book is already damaged in any form, it should be got checked from the issuing clerk or by the librarian, otherwise the responsibility will be of the student herself/himself.
- The Loses of the books should be reported to the librarian before the due date, in the absence of which, fine will be charged till the information is given and the borrower will be required to replace it. He/she will have to pay double the price along with his/her next college dues if the book could not be replaced.
- The students are expected to observe perfect silence in the reading room and not to disturb others in any way.
- Sleeping and Knitting are strictly prohibited in the Library.
- Students should check whether all pages are intact or not before getting the books issued. If pages are found missing at the time of returning then they will be fined heavily. Inform the librarian or issuing clerk regarding the missing pages at the time of getting the books issued and gets the signature of the librarian along with the notification of missing pages.
- The staff member will be issued not more than ten books at a time.
- In case the identity card is lost, a written application should immediately be made to the librarian. A duplicate card will be issued on the payment of Rs. 100/-
Hostel Rules
The admission to the hostels is done on first come first serve basis. No discrimination will be made on the basis of caste, colour, religion etc. The candidates seeking admission in the hostels are required to bring their parents / guardian along with at the time of admission. The parents and guardians of the candidates are under an obligation to submit a list of visitors (maximum three) alongwith their photographs. The visitors are allowed to meet their wards only on Sunday or some holiday between 10 AM to 2 PM. No visitor is permitted to take the candidate with him without the prior approval of warden.
The Hostel will be opened the hostlers as per the timings given below :
Summer Winter
5:30 AM to 6:30 PM 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Note : Leave from the hostel will be granted by the warden.
Transport Rules
- Transport charges will be paid in one installment at the time of admission
- Once the fee is submitted it will not be refunded
- The student must carry their I- Card while traveling by the college bus.
